Four people arrested after ‘incident’ on Glasgow street

Four people have been arrested after police were called to an “incident” on a Glasgow street.

There was an alleged disturbance on Pinmore Street in the Nitshill area in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Emergency services were also made aware of a suspected serious assault at the scene.

Two men, aged 25 and 53, and two women, aged 26 and 48, were arrested and charged in connection with this.

All are expected to appear in court today.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 2.35am on Sunday 12 May 2024, officers received a report of a serious assault and disturbance on Pinmore Street, Glasgow.

“Two men, aged 25 and 53, and two women, aged 26 and 48, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, May 13, 2024.”
