Teen robbery suspect identified and arrested

Traivonne Joshua Clark, 18, of Beaumont, was arrested May 4 on an outstanding warrant after he was identified from a Beaumont Police Department (BPD) social media post asking for the suspect in a May 3 aggravated robbery. May was sought.

At 2:30 a.m., the teen allegedly held a person at gunpoint and stole their vehicle in the 4900 block of Wyatt Street. At 4 a.m., officers located the vehicle at gas pumps in Concord and Delaware. The driver fled through Delaware, north on Pine and into Jeanette’s cul-de-sac, where he fled the vehicle on foot. Investigators believe he was picked up around 8:30 a.m. by an older model, light-colored Nissan Altima.

Clark was also charged with three additional felonies: attempted theft of property, unlawful carrying of a weapon and unauthorized use of vehicle.
